The Purpose:
This is a sample of an eLearning module I created for my final M. Ed in Learning Experience and Instructional Design capstone project in Spring 2024.
The purpose of the research was to examine the impact of the eLearning module that uses a self-paced multimedia approach to teach social-emotional learning skills to educators and analyzing their thoughts on using this approach for their professional development.
What is it?
An asynchronous self-paced multimedia professional development module that allows educators to access the learning content at their own time and explore the different aspects of the lesson/s in a variety of ways and media. The asynchronous model would include activities with multiple forms of engagement, representation, action and expression. It would provide formative assessments through EdPuzzle, Google Forms, collaborative discussions, and reflection questions. Summative assessments are provided with a reflection-based approach to learning that learners would complete by applying the gained skills and knowledge from working through the e-learning module.
